After a 22 year drought and a 39 point walloping of the Lakers in game six of the 2007/8 NBA Finals, the Boston Celtics are champions once again! The series ended 4-2, Paul 'The Truth' Pierce was voted Finals MVP and Beantown finally capture their 17th NBA championship.
I'm hoping this is the reignition of the Celtics-Lakers rivalry from yesteryear and I can't wait till Kobe and Co. hit town again. As Cleveland would put it, "It's gonna be tight y'all". Unless of course, it's game six of the 2007/8 NBA Finals.
